Nevertheless, we symbolically present you with the peace light with this little song as a thank you and as Christmas greetings, combined with our best wishes for the New Year 2024. May the lyrics of this song come true this year. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lyrics of the song were written by Franz Lackerbauer, a retired teacher and passionate dialect poet. He was originally commissioned by the Hausruckchor Ottnang-Maning to write the text for the choir&#8217;s performance at this year&#8217;s presentation of the Peace Light in Brussels. The choir then sang the text in a heavily modified version.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helmut Schwaiger from the Association for Music Information and choirmaster of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/AGV-Kohlr%C3%B6serl-100068485826606\/?locale=de_DE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">workers&#8217; choral society Kohlr\u00f6serl Ebensee<\/a>, in which Franz Lackerbauer, himself a native of Ebensee, is also active, then took the original text version and set it to music.
