On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of Jimi Hendrix, ZDF broadcast a report on the life of the guitarist and songwriter under the title quoted above. “Short and intoxicating was the life of Jimi Hendrix. He is regarded as the greatest rock guitarist of the 20th century – and died a small and miserable drug death at the age of 27,” the ZDF contribution said.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
